MS Edge not opening private Websites when using IP-Adresses, IExplorer - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have following problem ... one laptop has a windows 10 installation ms edge. in network have serveral websites i'm contacting via ip adresse regulary (router, nas, ..) . when working laptop inside of my private network computers have same network range , connections via ip adressses works fine. far good.

furthermore have vpn client installed on laptop. vpn connections to privat network works fine. i'm able ping systems ip adresse - no problems, when use ip adresse in edge adressbar to connect website (router, nas) edge tells me "hmmm ... can't reach page, search 192.168.178.1 on bing". doing same iexplorer, website opened , displayed successfully.

laptop has fresh windows 10 1503 installation , installed scretch. did because old installation have same issues well. way ... google chrome, opera , morzilla working ... ever ms edge not willing open router homepage when try access when connected via vpn.

any recommendations ???
