Can't find IE11. Can't reinstall. - Microsoft Community

windows 7 pro 64

i'm dealing similar ie issue. mine can't find ie! not appear on menu nor can find reference in program files. search on computer shows file "iexplore" in program files when opened loads ie. no such file exists on problematic computer. when have tried reinstall ie-various versions- message effect "internet explorer did not finish installing , ie10 installed on computer". attempts install 9 or 11 met similar message. looked ie in "uninstall or change program" in case there repair option. nothing showing.
