Cannot install Firefox 64-bit on Windows 10 x64 Build 15019 - Microsoft Community

for both version firefox 51 x64 , firefox nightly x64, installer not detect insider build being windows 10.

i have submitted 2 bugs on bugzilla:

bug 1336268 - cannot install firefox 64-bit 51.0.1 on windows 10 x64 (insider build 15019)

to reproduce, try installing scratch 64-bit version of either stable or nightly version of firefox in windows 10 insider build (i on 15019) , report back.

i have been running firefox on every insider build without issue.  however, in recent builds, have been unable correctly use firefox desktop icons.  forced me use edge liked desktop icons.

15025 introduced changes correctly allow firefox handle desktop icons.  perhaps 15025 might solve issue.

for reasons whatever, supplied firefox x86 on x64 pcs.  issue?
