i have windows 7. how can prevent automatic updates internet explorer?

since you're running windows 7, here's how disable automatic updates of internet explorer:
1. go control panel.
2. if view set category, click on system , security. (if view set large icons or small icons proceed next step.)
3. select windows update.
4. click change settings.
5. under important updates, click drop down menu box. should install updates automatically (recommended).
6. select , click on download let me choose updates install.
7. click on ok button. exit out of control panel.
note disabling automatic updates internet explorer mean browser won't latest patches , fixes security checks. affect browser performance lead websites being blocked.
