The new ‘Solved my problem’ feature and other recent - Microsoft Community

thank feedback on new features. in response questions, wanted provide additional information ‘solved problem’ feature , how relates existing ‘helpful’ , ‘mark answer’ options on posts.

the ‘solved problem’ feature part of new set of features designed improve our ability identify solutions , content within community, not replacement ‘mark answer’.

solved problem designed used original poster, or others reading thread, , way of validating post resolved question or problem having. should not used moderators; should continue use ‘mark answer’ in moderator tools today.

it not meant replacement ‘mark answer’. continue encourage both original posters other community members use ‘mark answer’ if feel post answers question. possible both clicked on single post.

there additional feature, release within next 2 months, replace ‘helpful’ option more useful option allows posters rate whether piece of content helpful or not helpful. share more on new feature prior release.

thank post, not solve problems it that has been mentioned in cpc ad infinitum since change implemented.

in section of post that i have bolded state intended for,

but not happening.

here prime example of misleading misuse.

the op posted original reply to ask me more questions.

that reply op has seen "solved problem" clicked 3 times.

that reply nothing solving anyone's problems.

and has caused fuss in cpc change.
