calendar deletes appointments 3 weeks after have have passed , doesnt show more 6 months ahead.  how can them back?

phone sync online calendar, the following events (these settings can't changed):
  • two weeks of past single-instance (non-recurring) events.
  • all future single-instance events.
  • all recurring events have occurrences within last 2 weeks or anytime in future

it syncs online account calendar.  events still there, online, phone gets during sync.
