Photos and videos transferred to SD card no longer appear in photos - Microsoft Community

this complex issue, on 6 of june updateadvisor app moved videos , photos internal storage sd card make room windows 10 update. however, supposed transfer them when update finished. after windows 10 downloaded, updateadvisor said 'pending' , wouldn't open, , couldn't find app on store anymore. 

i looked through photos , noticed photos , videos transferred internal storage had disappeared. thought deleted, until looked in 'files' , 'sd card' , noticed file there called 'updateadvisor' photos , videos are. can view them here, can't view them in slideshow, , of time click on photo , go back, message:

'can't complete

unfortunately couldn't complete task.

error code: 0x80070490. can mention code when providing feedback'

after message cannot see photos , can see few music files. must go , reclick 'updateadvisor' folder in order see them again.

anyway, had imported photos , videos pc, counted of files see if missing, none seem missing. however, files ending in mp4.tnl seem missing. don't know them, seem correspond videos, videos still play on phone don't know if matters missing.

after day or two, upgradeadvisor became accessible again however, can't find option on there offers transfer files back.

so if me following questions grateful. have quite few questions, won't able answer them all, simplest answer 1 of them me out lot.

why did files not transfer , why in separate 'updateadvisor' folder instead of camera roll other photos?

what error code '0x80070490' , why appearing when looking through photo files?

why files ending in mp4.tnl missing videos , purpose?

and important question how transfer files internal storage? or @ least how transfer them camera roll can view them normally?

since issue started after phone software update, suggest update phone software again , additional app updates store needed enable new features phone after software update. check app updates, go store > menu > downloads , updates and tap check updates. after update check complete, tap update all.

after completing updates, try check if issue persists.
