Update on 1/11/16 on 640XL problems - Microsoft Community

i received update 640xl on t-mobile other day, , of apps there, after update, couldn't download new apps or update of existing apps. downloads started , error message in middle of download or complete , way through installation, error out, with one of following error messages:

try again
went wrong
error code 0x80073cf9 in case need it

try again
went wrong
error code 0x800071ac3 in case need it

something happened app.
we're working fix problem
error code 0x80070002 in case need it

i waited sometime , went to different wifi networks , same thing happened.

i searched on error numbers , came results computers. ones phones said, basically, soft reset first , if didn't work, hard reset.

i did soft resets several times.  still same.

so did hard reset , restored backup had done on jan. 5.

the same thing continues happen; partial or complete downloads , error messages either before download completes or in middle of installation.

i have apps set install on sd card, has worked until now. did not erase card when reset phone, though asked if wanted to. since have 64gb card 30gb of music on it, in addition apps, photos , documents, didn't want that.

so question is, how apps download , update again?

right now, can make phone calls, apps not work. i'm frustrated. isn't insider preview, normal (from can tell) update did phone prevent reinstalling or updating apps.

i appreciate solution. needs more information might have left out troubleshoot this, i'd forever grateful.

we suggest download windows device recovery tool on pc , use fix software problems on phone.

let know how goes.
