Messenger no longer works with Windows Phone 8.1 - Microsoft Community


hi have htc 1 m8 running windows 8.1 today got message on facebook messenger saying "thank using facebook message friends. regret inform starting today, march 28th, messaging no longer supported on version of app you're using. continue send , receive messages facebook on phone, please update facebook app latest version: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9wzdncrfj2wl thanks, messenger team" when go update says app cannot work on device cause requires windows 10 mobile. phone cannot updated windows 10 cause not supported i'm suppose ?
