Why won't my phone let me use my apps? - Microsoft Community


i have nokia lumia 635. when click on an app messages, call log, or storage sense, phone wont load them, in turn doesn't let me update system cant see stored on phone or on sd card. , phone wont connect windows computer.

why happening? need phone work , has files , document i use regularly. phone 2 years old. yes have a smashed screen , few cracks in corners of backing case.

please me!

shows there's wrong phone's software. physical damage may affecting performance of phone. before performing troubleshooting steps, please answer following questions:

  • which windows version running on phone?
  • have checked if phone software updated?
  • did issue start happen after smashed on screen?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?
