Windows Store and other Metro Apps keep crashing or are unstable. - Microsoft Community


i'm having problem computer running build 14986, though problem persists in previous builds. of essential apps crash on startup, unstable, or have trouble opening. following list of apps not working on computer:

  1. store
  2. calculator
  3. camera
  4. messenger
  5. facebook
  6. movies & tv

i've asked windows answer desk, no avail. redirected answer desk (case number 1367644557 in case), , couldn't find solution this.

hi,

to further isolate if there corrupted files in current user profile causes problem, let try create new user profile on pc. instructions, please follow these steps:

  1. open command prompt (admin).
  2. type net user test /add , hit enter.

note: if new user account created, check if issue still persist.

let know how goes.
