New Edge tab opens my mail page again - Microsoft Community


when click on link in mail, opens mail page again, , after click second time opens right tab.  why happening, never happened before, went right page opening new tab.

hi,

programmers can alter way links in emails , web pages behave. may that particular email programmed open in new window.

outcomes can depend on mail client using... eg. outlook desktop, windows mail, windows mail app.

if using outlook.com online, open settings (cog icon on inbox page) to  configure how want reading pane appear , how links in emails opened.
