OneNote Clipper app fails to update error 0x80070057. Now got an - Microsoft Community


onenote clipper failed update error code 0x80070057. retried , keep getting same. went settings on microsoft edge , uninstalled extension app.  ok. went store app , tried re install 1 note clipper failed install same error code. i'm on latest windows 10 using surface pro.

anybody else getting this...

i have over-come problem, may helpful others error.  go settings in edge browser , click extensions. click onenote web clipper , click uninstall.  go windows 10 app store through edge browser (not store app) , search onenote clipper. click 'get it' , downloads , installs ok , app works again. problem must store app, hope helps getting error after update on 01/02/2017.

ok now, uninstalled , installed via windows 10 store using browser , not app store.
