Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14986 161202 1928 many ISSUES - Microsoft Community
hi,
i've installed build, seemed stable after few weeks i'm getting kinds of unexpected issues.
my combination of things:
m.s. surfacebook
m.s. office 2016
windows 10 enterprise preview build 14986 161202 1928
hyper-v
all kinds of other software nothing big or close os part of system
installed removed because might somehow cause issues:
m.s. emet 5.0
applocker policy
try remove paint-3d yet useless edition...but no "god" not want me remove anymore. used reg setting avoid start instead of classic-mspaint.
intermittent issues:
no more "start" menu.
edge browser not start anymore.
unable close applications
graphical weirdness in composing desktop , windows.
many more....
cause:
no idea yet, before i'm going put more time in there or restore/reinstall, thought let's see if has ideas. or maybe similar issues.
it seems derive same underlying cause.
i'm suspecting user profile 'm not ready discard yet. before build had intermittend sad :( screens of death ( bsod). maybe damaged user profile. user.dat part is.
"other" users on system have issues.
what checked:
sfc /scannow -> result ok
