Bluetooth keyboard new batteries no light - Microsoft Community


have microsoft bluetooth mobile keyboard 6000. sat unused better part of year no batteries in it. put 2 new fresh aaa batteries in , when switched on little light did not come on.   thought maybe batteries had expired package says they're till 2026.  i tried other batteries bought couple of days ago , still won't start up.

followup: keyboard still won't start.  is there small button cell in keyboard storing bluetooth pairing have gone flat?
