How Large is your Insiders Build - Windows.old Folder? - Microsoft Community


today, curious pc "windows.old folder" in local drive. right clicked on see stored there. looks have 21 gbs of files accumulated. did clean install around mar 3rd have 5 upgraded build accumulation. 

wonder, if other insider has not clean installed january 2017 or prior. total accumulation of old windows files in local drive?

if "windows.old" folder becomes large, can create update problems insiders?

i deleted windows.old folder today, after every upgrade.  yours, mine 21 gbs.  not believe continually grows each upgrade.  rather, think upgrades removes , replaces files remains constant in size.

what baffling though disk clean says remove 28.1 gbs, reduces size of c drive 19 gbs.
