15019 hosed system - Microsoft Community


15019 installed, looked ok @ first, things wouldn't open cortana settings, start blank. after rebooting machine hosed "location unavailable" box saying c:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop unavailable. couldn't open anything, no start, no taskmanager, no explorer, etc. thank goodness had week old backup of 15014.

did wait upgrade complete? many seeing no progress on install indicators , forcing restarts corrupts operating system files, problem of no progress on indicators has been posted.
