Screen Cast to Monitor - Microsoft Community


i can no longer access dell 2240l monitor laptop via hdmi - settings cannot detect device

i have downloaded dell driver package monitor on install cannot detect monitor either , refers plug & play device

hdmi cable works when plugged tv via same laptop , monitor works when plugged raspberry pi same hdmi cable - therefore no issue monitor nor hdmi cable

is issue insider build on? has else had issue , have suitable workaround  

current build:

insider preview build 16215.rs_prerelease 170603-1840

have no issues build 16215 on dell 780 nvidia card hdmi using dell monitor , 4k samsung tv, have checked support laptop didn't provide info laptop or if using docking station, suggest delete drivers monitor disconnect hdmi , reboot wait few min's after has rebooted make sure monitor on , plugged hdmi laptop.
