Windows Update does not recognize BIOS updates - Microsoft Community


windows 10 latest release, 1703, downloaded hp pavilion, amd a8700 p processor, 12 gb ram, 1tb hd, 

updated bios hp site matching model #s, bios upgrade went througn, windows update not complete, keeps saying bios upgrade needed.

bios upgrades not done through windows through bios not part of operating system.
