64-bit IE 11 gives "Internet Explorer stopped working" but - Microsoft Community


when i open sharepoint page using 64-bit ie i get "ie has stopped working"  within 20 seconds. i'm  not doing on page, letting mouse hover on same positon. amazingly, opening same page in 32-bit ie not cause this problem.

any ideas?

hi,

one of browser addons causing problem. tools>manage addons>show addons

locate toolbar or bho addon 32 bit version disabled 64 bit version enabled. disable 64bit version also... consider uninstalling addon using programs , features applet in windows control panel.

seek assistance of companys desk or company's system administrators in first instance forum consumer specific questions ie. able make better diagnosis have access error logs ie generates when closes due malware. also, on company networks common map sharepoint sites ie intranet zone, default 32bit tab or window processes allowed run.
