DISM Still Fails on 15063 (and 15063.11) - Microsoft Community

is behavior particular installation, has been continuously upgrading 1 ip build another? or microsoft going ship rtm can't run dism cleanly?

(do not, under circumstances, suggest clean install. have 1 ip test system, , has installed casually wipe out.)

i keep getting errors following, , dism.log has gotten indecipherable, @ least problem.

the dism log file can found @ c:\windows\logs\dism\dism.log

i can provide excerpts log if clarify things, it's not looking file hash problem, can't see hints @ source wants load in order locate file.

is microsoft slow in getting files online , available dism run properly?

dism /restorehealth has been unable complete various insider preview builds throughout life of insider program. gets sorted out , run completion. agree unusual have still encounter errors on final "rtm" build. however, launch edge first time in 15063.11 , still says "hey insiders" on first tab displays.

the error message not accurate, in says source files not found, when 1 package in source not found.

i think if sfc /scannow completes successfully, install sound. read on dism error message shown in cbs.log is there no error except looks flightsigning package not exist in install.wim. not mean dism not repair else exist in install.wim.

sfc checks windows files against copies kept in component store , replaces changed files authentic ones. if sfc fails this, dism /restorehealth can fix component store, has needed files sfc fix things next time. believe dism /restorehealth fixes both copies of files, if dism succeeds, sfc /scannow should succeed.

one usable source dism shared windows\winsxs folder running copy of windows, restorehealth looking in install.wim too.

here dism /restorehealth run on partition on have windows 10 build 15063 installed. used running windows 15063.11 winsxs folder source (same results install.wim). cumulative update have installed (but not installed on image) not seem matter. line "image version: 10.0.15063.0" indicates base version of offline image.
