Persistent Error: Printer Queue is Full - Microsoft Community


i reporting on feedback hub too, thought i'd put out there , see if had insight issue, or simple fix. note: don't need reminded part of fast ring builds , glitches happen. got it! :)

but doesn't mean of rather avoid these sorts of issues if possible.

issue has cropped me last 2 insider builds, right referring build 16215.rs 170603-1840. have canon 7500 series printer attached (wired) gigabit lan. after latest build getting either no printing (or error messages) or message effect of: windows cannot print page. print queue full. oddly, nothing showing on queue @ all, , i've seen huge spool file or continuously processing file. printer seems fine both t control panel level , @ printer itself.

  1. i deleted printer, re-added it: still no prints.
  2. installed additional/updated "advanced" driver canon; still same.
  3. i tried change or delete port, did not work either.

i believe know procedure fix via shutting down spooler service , re-installing everything, point is, shouldn't happening @ all. if has insights might cause, or way avoid hassle in future appreciated.  thanks!

  • have tried connecting different pc/laptop printer?
  • what kind of document/file trying print?
