Windows 10 apps closing - Microsoft Community


yesterday purchased windows 10 upgrade , installed on surface pro 3. today continually have had trouble apps closing randomly while i'm working in them. happening in microsoft edge , windows mail app, not on apps i'd purchased. have run app troubleshooting hasn't solved it. edge app has closed twice while i've been trying send message.

there several reasons why experiencing problem , that's going figure out. type of issue happens when there's hardware failure or software change made on device prior concern. isolate concern, kindly perform following:

  1. perform sfc (system file checker) scan on device. revert system files default state. please click link , follow instructions provided zigzag3143 (ms-mvp).
  2. if sfc scan doesn't work, kindly follow instructions under dism found on same link.
