Facebook app consumes 33% battery when never opened and configured - Microsoft Community


i have lumia 950 dual sim, running 10.0.14393.693.  battery issues cropping again, such can't make through day.

the 24 hours battery usage app shows #1 usage facebook @ 33%, though facebook configured "never allowed in background", , i've not opened facebook in several days.  if tap on facebook app in 'battery usage app', can see facebook still consuming background battery.  suspect due special feature in see last facebook post each of contacts in people app. known issue?  is there workaround besides uninstalling facebook?
