New TXT message conversation - Microsoft Community

i upgraded lumia windows 10 , have since had issues new conversation thread creating when getting reply txt messages.  example txt using original thread, 5 minutes later reply created brand new thread.  phone number has not changed (this not time).

how

a: stop happening

b: group these conversations together?

there incorrect settings on windows 10 mobile. let's work onthis out providing information below:

• what's os build installed on device? check, go settings > system > about > more info.
• does contact have multiple profiles? if so, merging or linking them make difference?

if contact has combination of social media , phone number, thread being separated way , may not merge together.
