Windows 10 16184 Installation Failure - Microsoft Community

i have attempted load windows insider preview 16184.1001 (rs_pre-release) several times on past 3 days no avail.  download completes , first phase of installation appears complete when second phase starts reaches approximately 35% , reboots error notice "unable complete, restoring previous version".   running evaluation copy build 16176.rs_pre-release 170410.1642 on , microsoft surface pro 4.  have run memory diagnostics reports no memory failures, have run windows updater verification states has corrected 2 errors, disabled av , firewall , removed micro sd card.  no effect.

system configuration:

surface pro 4

8gb memory 64 bit os, x64 based processor

intel(r) core(tm) i7-6650u @ 2.20ghz 2.21 ghz

after each reboot, returned previous version notice evaluation copy expire 5/15/2017.
