IE11 document mode defaults to IE5 - Microsoft Community

hi,

whenever opens java application in ie, default selects document mode ie5. have added below meta tags in jsp code still no luck. also, when open other application in tab of ie default document mode selected edge. compatibility view settings of ie not have entry.

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, shrink-to-fit=no">

please me make application defaults ie9 or edge.
