Is there a way to see how long an update will take? - Microsoft Community


i'm in insider program , have latest build installed on toshiba laptop. love it, have 1 question. there way see how long update take? in previous versions, windows update how long update take , how big is. 

for example: took computer 6.5 hours download , install creator's update. if had known size , time update would've taken, could've set download @ night. had set connection on metered on home wifi won't happen again. :(

any appreciated. thank you. 

many variables internet speed, clean connections, cpu speed, memory, system being used @ time of download affect time latest took on 2 hours on 1 of systems , 31/2 on have 100+ mb download speed varies when other systems running in house.
