Problem with update KB4020102 and EDGE - Microsoft Community


after installing update kb4020102 on surface 4 microsoft edge no longer work.  starts after few seconds without opening freezes , closes.   uninstalling update has not fixed problem.  please can advise on how resolve problem.  thanks

hi,

i may have found problem although not clean boot.

i tried following instructions clean boot 'system configuration' hung , stopped responding.  computer not including shut down or restart.  had 'power off' working again.  tried again time stopped each service in turn.  when tried stop the trusteer rapport service (ibm) system configuration again hung , again had power off working.  uninstalled trusteer rapport, restated , eureka edge working again...

so seem trusteer rapport , recent ms updates incompatible...
