i running build 15063.0. believe release preview creators edition. upgraded new build yesterday. news , weather apps won't launch @ all. tried old powershell reinstall apps no avail. sfc , dism both report corruption install unfortunately don't seem have source repair though windows update seems working properly. 

is proper course of action use iso media creation tool rebuild though older build? don't think ideal. no way iso source current insider edition seems in place upgrade previous build solution. rather repair current installation if possible versus having various installed programs not show in upgrade repair. been there. done that. @ point i'm better off reinstalling windows. fault. did delete installation directory insider preview is trying source. i'm confused why cannot pull files on windows update though.

there has been package missing install.wim several builds. dism repair looks in install.wim package name includes "microsoft-testroot-and-flightsigning". when not find this, gives error indicating cannot find repair source, if has used same source repair other problems, or if there nothing wrong in first place (i.e. sfc /scannow completes without error). specific error shows in cbs.log after running dism /restorehealth.

when first installed build 15063, had copied separate partition, using dism apply index:4 esd file partition. before had time boot it, ran sfc /scannow , dism /restorehealth on see if came clean , did. after booting ran dism /online /restorehealth , gave same error missing flightsigning package happening on previous builds. causes windows missing package in install.wim, after install, when running dism. user explained why looks in thread time back. expect resolved once version 1703 becomes public.
