Insider build update from 16199 - Microsoft Community

windows update has failed 16215 , 16226. i've tried many fixes can't remember i've tried. search history lists these errors:

0x080246010

0x08000ffff

0x080240034

those on various separate attempts on last few days. i've tried every major suggestion each of errors, including looks comprehensive wureset.bat.

anytime use windows update regardless of steps restarts, , gets 5% , reverts login screen of 16199. i've tried iso method few times, , fails boot usb device, or if run setup inside windows gets point it's going restart, exit's setup desktop "unable install windows" error dialog box. 16199 continues work except it's various annoyances, it's getting ridiculous @ point after 30-something attempts update.

this on dell xps 13 2 in 1, it's not old machine, , @ point don't know else do. i've gutted productivity used have on machine uninstalling literally application on it. i've disabled every non-microsoft service, , nothing seems make situation better.

for better assist concern, kindly answer following:

• what current error code or message you're getting when you're updating insider build latest build?
• you mentioned tried boot usb device. error message you're getting when attempt boot usb device? same issue happens when use other computer?
• does issue occur when use dvd disc instead of usb device install new insider build?
