Internet Explorer Address Bar will not work - Microsoft Community


running on windows 7 64bit sp1 machine updated. scanned malware, nothing.

issue:
typing out url in address bar in internet explorer 11 not navigate. observe circle icon spinning (and twitching sometimes). i've noticed can sites using desktop shortcuts, clicking on links on page produces same issue. nothing in group policy changed we're aware of. behavior manifests on 1 workstation.

what we've tried:

-resetting advanced ie settings

-running ie no addons

-resetting ie , rebooting

-checking ie default browser , file associations

-downgrading ie8 , reinstalling ie8 , reinstalling latest version

the issue manifests on earlier versions of ie (9 , 10) well. internet explorer default browser , i've checked program defaults.

i found article can you, can check  why ie7 toolbar,address, menu bar vanish?. regards, ryan!
