Missing iexplorer.exe after Disk Cleanup - Microsoft Community


i used windows disk cleanup afternoon clear space. shut down computer , turned up. when booted up, got error windows cannot find c:\windows\system32\ie4unit.exe. profile loaded fine , didn't see issue anymore after restarting on , over. anyways, after profile loaded, internet explorer 10 no longer worked. noticed when microsoft outlook , skype won't work. kept asking ie installed. checked ie 10 , it's folder on program files.

i tried reinstalling ie 10 , upgrading ie 11. both failed. tried system restore , gave me catastrophic error. tried system restore on safe mode. no luck.

i not sure now. please help.
