Scanner no longer working with latest 16xxx fast builds - Microsoft Community


hello all,

 starting latest fast ring updates 16xxx 16176, printer scanner (brother mfc-j870dw) no longer working. complains cannot load twain library (error 1114) (although might wia); workaround: use wiaacmgr program.

 is there simple solution such registering forgotten dll make work ?

there several reasons why printer scanner has stopped working. better assist drivers, kindly answer following questions:

  • have check if have updated printer driver?
  • have tried uninstalling , installing printer driver back?

meanwhile suggest check article, kindly run troubleshooter identify issue further , correct properly.

get can assist further.
