quicken 2016 fail run error stating .net 4.6.1 not installed. insiders familiar registry editor, there optional workaround. take ownership of following registry keys , edit “version” value 4.6.xxxxx instead of 4.7.xxxxx, system won't let me change version 4.6 running under administrator. it's denied!
after few moments of finagling, found it's best take ownership account on whole v4 subsection of registry, add permissions section specific account name , choose replace child object permission entries account name. only after point was able change version number.
