Selecting a phone number doesn't start the phone app anymore - Microsoft Community

seems bug introduced in latest release, in didn't start happening until after phone (950xl) downloaded major update.   years, selecting a phone number on web page or contacts in wp8-wp10 lead phone app being used.  sensible, right?  new behavior go screen selecting app, i.e. "choose app open link".  if phone app listed there, design flaw not same level of bug.  alas, 2 apps listed "people" , "skype preview".  so, how associate phone numbers starting phone app again, used be?  thanks.

i had similar experiance whne android guess  have in addition "skype preview", which phone app, so presented chioce

i have 2 pdf reader apps on phone each time want download presented with choice

sometimes given with the option of default app (phone or skype) to use,  found when added phone app installed choice offered

i  thought update added skype preview, but it has opened variable basic call app when not required

the suggestion uninstall skype preview ? and when when asks install skype preview
