Why my Nokia Lumia 830 can't detect 5GHz wifi? - Microsoft Community


my nokia lumia 830 on latest update.

but upon switching wifi 5ghz band, doesn't detect anymore.

i've try searching, there few people saying lumia 830 can connect 5ghz, why mine can't found it?

p.s there reason why 5ghz, don't ask me switch 2.4ghz. thank you.

an active sim card mobile data enabled required 5ghz wifi work, , use of 5ghz may restricted in firmware variants countries.
