Problem with updating to 15025-15031 - Microsoft Community

strange issue i'm having updating 15025-15031 , had same issue when updating from to 15025 from whatever build 15025 although able solve 1 somehow.

i update files install 15031 , power button gives option sleep, update , shutdown, update , restart. hit update , restart , update doesn't run. i run windows update troubleshooter , sfc /scannow. sfc doesn't find wrong. wu troubleshooter find issues supposedly fixed here's funny part: because same update options under power button, re-run wu troubleshooter (two or 3 times) , finds same problems that supposedly fixed. 1 think causing the issue (although of them) step repair wu dataase corruption. when check details, it gives me file datastoreandwulogfiles.zip. if try @ file, gives me access denied.

going problem updating 15025, same issues went away , installed. the difference between 1 , 15031 update attempted system restore failed because had problem access to appdata or that.

any suggestion?

check updates , walk away until restart box shows , click on , again walk away until see logon screen, log on , go away.  let own restarts.  when gives logon again log on , wait more.

do not use power button.

one of mine done in 48 minutes, 1 done in 1 hour 37 minutes , slow 3rd 1 took 2 hours , 41 minutes.
