Internet Explorer 11 stopped working on Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

internet explorer 11 being used windows 10 stopped working.  whenever ie opened, "unable open internet explorer unable open" error pops up.  when close program, ie restarts same error comes , process repeated , "unable return message comes up.  appreciated.

internet explorer needs reset. restore browser clean state, need uninstall , reinstall it. disable it, follow steps below:

1. press windows + x.

1. click control panel.
2. click programs.
3. click programs , features.
4. click turn windows features on or off.
5. in windows features window, uncheck the internet explorer program.
6. restart pc save changes.
7. repeat step 1 step 5.
8. in windows features window, check the internet explorer program.
9. wait installation finish.
10. restart pc again.

 

if can launch internet explorer now, reset app option itself. reset it, visit link to change or reset internet explorer settings.
