robots.txt stopping me accessing scottish power account. suggestions. can access account using friend's ipad, problem on laptop.

hi,

open ie. select tools>internet options>advanced tab, uncheck "enable third-party browser extensions". save changes.

!important: close open ie windows

open ie again...... should notice ie toolbars gone.... causing problem , have been switched off above setting.

type in

https://www.scottishpower.co.uk

... click login button , enter valid username , password details , click login button.....

.... if not work (you have entered wrong password).... click 'forgot' link retrieve password web site...

do have google or yahoo toolbars installed? have own form , password addons, ie has own (tools>internet options>content tab>autocomplete settings ) , don't need two. uninstall google,roboform or yahoo toolbar , use internet options form autocomplete instead.
