Windows 10 IS TAKING TOO LONG AT STARTUP - Microsoft Community


i running windows 10 pro version 1607.  build #14393.594

___with latest update, desktop taking long down business. have solid state "c" drive, there no conceivable reason why should wait 5 minutes desktop begin functioning.  willing uninstall kinds of apps don't use. , hate microsoft updating such apps don't use.

___the way see it, i'm doing microsoft favor being in insider program. becoming intolerable chore. while windows 10 boots quicker power off desktop display. there no gain if "hourglass" continues 3-5 minutes.

j agree, 3-5 minutes chore. however, after cumulative update not unusual first time computer turned on after restart. leave computer running until activity seen in task manager stays @ or below 5%. once time operation future starts being normal.
