Internet sharing - Microsoft Community


internet sharing refusing work. when put on, doesn't function , later tells connection not successful. updated lumia 822 windows 8.1, when began.

with regard concern, suggest using windows device recovery tool revert original operating system. phone reset factory default status upon using tool.  procedure restore phone using tool follows: (for more detailed information, can refer windows device recovery tool: faq)

  1. start downloading , installing windows device recovery tool computer (for windows 10, 8.x , 7).
  2. connect phone pc (using usb cable came phone).
  3. after few seconds, pc should find phone , you'll see phone selection screen. click phone model in screen select it.
  4. after few seconds more, latest available firmware version device shown. click 'install software'/'reinstall software' button flash phone.
  5. windows device recovery tool download , install latest firmware + os available phone



note! before running tool, please make sure back stuff. installation process delete content on phone—including apps, texts, , photos—so it's important files.
