Passwords - Microsoft Community

is neccessary have same password microsoft applications?  example  microsoft account, hotmail, google, outlook etc.

i had major issue paypal involved changing passwords on 2 two email accounts held.

after solving issue, found had change microsoft account password , unable access outllok emails.

many microsoft services msn, these forums, outook.com/hotmail, , onedrive, (they're not applications) use same authentication realm; is, don't use separate accounts. use same address , password of them, calling upon same authentication servers verify credentials. so, changing password on one, changes on because it's exact same account.

google not included in that. google unrelated microsoft, uses google credentials access google services. however, microsoft services, google services gmail, photos, docs, drice, hangouts, voice, , on, use same authentication servers changing password 1 google service changes them because use single account.

yahoo similar yahoo mail, calendar, contacts, , flickr.

even if create microsoft account uses username looks gmail address, not gmail address , unrelated have on google. same holds true in other direction well. using username looks microsoft address log google services not mean there linkage between two.

paypal unrelated either google or microsoft. while it's true give paypal email address, password use on paypal unrelated password other service. moreover, changing email address use on paypal has no effect on passwords used on other service.
