Trojan.BHO.Generic In MICROSOFT\INTERNET - Microsoft Community


i regularly run malwarebytes anti-virus scans, , discovered following 2 pieces of apparent malware:

registry values: 2

trojan.bho.generic, hku\s-1-5-21-3208133925-2297144001-3298945247-1001\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar\webbrowser\{604bc32a-9680-40d1-9ac6-e06b23a1ba4c}, , [c08649f7b8f1a5917cc83ab3639ec040],

trojan.bho.generic, hku\s-1-5-21-3208133925-2297144001-3298945247-1001\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar\webbrowser|{604bc32a-9680-40d1-9ac6-e06b23a1ba4c}, *Ãk`€–Ñ@šÆàk#¡ºl, , [c08649f7b8f1a5917cc83ab3639ec040]

i @ loss how ended in internet explorer because use ie 2 websites:  outlook email account , 1 other site.  know sure malware not installed through other site, , apparently came outlook.  not download attachments or click on links in emails i'm @ odds how have happened.

does have idea how apparent malware installed on ie, , apparent malware do?  removed apparent malware appreciate if folks provide insight on it.

followed microsoft online instructions disable tool bands , browser helper objects should prevent such apparent malware getting installed in future; however, i'm still unsure how there in first place , purpose.
