Lost connections from Lumia 1020 - Microsoft Community


i had restart lumia 1020 , got message “something went wrong during start up” or that. result lost photos , contacts phone , there no windows account in phone more. when try add account, phone does’t open screen write account info.

i still have contacts in account when checking pc , photos saved in onedrive, nothing lost ever. broblem i'm not able add account in phone anymore.

by restart mean reset?  went settings, about, , reset phone? if had sd card asked if wanted format card or not. did choose?  did have pictures in phone memory or on card?

when phone restarted after reset had option of entering account info, did that?

your account gets contacts on phone. without not have contacts.

when reset phone have backup personal files, photos, documents, music.

if on sd card ok unless formatted card.

to fix problem need use windows device recovery tool restore phone. phone reset give same result.
