Outlook for android 2.1.138 will not add a new account - how can I fix - Microsoft Community

here's scenario. had outlook on phone, worked fine. when moved different email service, deleted ony account on outlook specific email address. new provider, cannot create new account new server settings , passord. not connect server. if, "remembers" previous settings , won't accept changes.

i spent 3 hours service provider confirmed there no issues on end. , new email account created on outlook on pc - no problems. 

i created 2nd email account same provider (same server settings, kept same password) , outlook 2.1.138 took , set up, no problem. refuses create new account old email address.

clearly there sort of artifact file or residual memory of old deleted account. how fix this?

i have cleared cache partition

i ran utility permanantly delete deleted files 

nothing has fixed far.
