Cannot install IE11 - Microsoft Community

hello all,

i cannot install ie 11, windows updater error code 9c59.

after searching net, have tried:

• sfc /scannow in cmd (all fine)
• manually tried install prerequisites (download prompt telling me installed)
• downloading ie 11 directly (installed restart , still have ie 8)
• in windows features >on or off, ie 11 displayed , checked.
• checked updates, including hidden, last 1 ie 11 won't install , optional language packs hidden.
• i have ran windows update repair software, fails on windows update error 0x80070005(2017-06-24-t-11_38_24p) (has passed on couple of times though?

the error code change sometimes, didn't make note of received was: 80070002

if can provide other suggestions grateful. further information needed ask.

update: every time shut down windows installing screen 1/1 nothing changed afterwards looks ie 11 might stuck?

hi,

during installation of internet explorer on windows 7 pc, prerequisite components being automatically installed installer program. when these steps fail, internet explorer stop installation.

we recommend manually install prerequisite software first before installing internet explorer 11. refer article , check if helps.
