Reveresed colors in internet explorer - Microsoft Community


if leave ie open extended periods , come back, tabs empty name of tab, black , colors reversed.  can't type in address area, cursor there typing doesn't show.  have shut down , reboot fix screen normal.  how fix this?

there feature in windows 8.1 allows visual effect displayed in place of sound may revert colors of screen. can check settings on ease of access center following these steps:

  1. go control panel, ease of access center , click on it.
  2.  click use text or visual alternatives sounds.
  3.  uncheck box next turn on visual notifications sounds (sound sentry).
  4.  click apply , ok.

let know if steps provided above resolve issue.
