Special characters not escaped correctly on pinned files - Microsoft Community


there issue special characters in file name.

on windows phone 8.1 file name ampersand ("&") worked under windows 10 mobile "^0" displayed instead. don't understand how such fundamental stuff stops working 1 version other ...

"escaping" characters should known developers & --> & example ...

  • what's os build installed on phone? check, go settings > system > about > more info.
  • when did issue start?
  • where see this?
  • can send screenshot of issue you're experiencing? that, press power , volume up buttons @ same time take picture of screen.
