Build 16193.1001 - FATAL issues - Microsoft Community

update

this update intelligent microsoft employee has posted reply telling me must use feedback hub submit build issues ..... if braincell present suggest take pregnancy test

since posting have reset feedback hub (settings - apps - feedback hub - advanced options - reset(x2)) , progress bar, displayed on 'all programs' list stuck @ around 75% - has been past 30 minutes.

this means cannot submit issue via app designed handle feedback .. other suggestion bright spark ? .. please post answers on postage stamp using 5 inch paintbrush write answer ..

good morning,

these issues not associated hardware, nor associated corrupt system files because these have been checked.

system usage

  • cpu - 4%
  • memory - 55%
  • disc - 0% (304gb free of 424gb)

i installed build 16193.1001 last night, , morning have following issues desktop.

  • windows slow boot - taking 5 minutes, before below 3 minutes
  • feedback hub freezes , crashes
  • store freezes on launch - cannot type in search box, nor select apps clicking
  • the edge icon on taskbar blank (empty) square
  • firefox runs edge freezes
  • the microsoft internet explorer icon had placed on taskbar has been removed, has icon pinned start menu. ironically mozilla's firefox still pinned both locations .. use 3 browsers (ie, firefox & edge)
  • unable pin programs start menu - able right-click program in 'all programs' list , click 'pin start' icon not appear on start menu
  • when launch 'skype preview' hangs - signing-in after long time (nearly 15 minutes)
  • launching in-built facebook app results in crash "this app can't open" - check windows store more info ... see above

i aware build release, , these issues resolved when released, right should have polished build updates resolving security issues , bringing new ideas build.

i microsoft stop removing icons, , shortcuts, taskbar , start menus.

thank you

mie
